How is it already mid-September?! I think we can all agree that this year has FLOWN by. I almost forgot that it was time for my monthly 5! Here we go.
First one for today is a tank I have been living in. I love Free People, and this tank top is no exception! It is their Square One Seamless Cami which I have now bought in 4 colors.. no shame in my game! I have the more basic colors; black, heather grey, white, and moss green. They're tight enough that you can tuck them into high waisted jeans and not get any bunches which I can't even tell you how much I hate.
Up next - these beautiful macrame pillow covers from Amazon. I was looking for throw pillows for my white couch but I have a pretty loud carpet so I wanted something subtle yet still unique. If I'm being completely honest, I am not the biggest macrame fan so I was iffy about them at first, but I am so glad I ended up ordering them, they're such great quality and look so beautiful on a couch. 10/10 recommend!
Third on this months list is this fun cocktail book I got a few months ago for a Zoom bachelorette I was hosting... COVID, ugh! It's called Free the Tipple and is soooo cute I can't even stand it. I sent this book to each girl who was participating in the Zoom so we could all make a cocktail together to make it a bit more special for my boyfriends sister's bachelorette. Each cocktail is inspired by a "kickass" iconic woman which was just perfect for the occasion! I love everything about this book from the cocktails to the illustrations. It's such a great gift for one of your girlfriends!
Next up is the most expensive item this month. It's a hair supplement that I have been using for about 4 months now and can already see results! One of my doctors recommended Nutrafol to me and I am so thankful that he did. I am on medications that make my hair thin / sometimes fall out so my hair is a constant struggle for me. This stuff has been a miracle so far and like I mentioned, it's only been 4 months. It's definitely an investment but after years of trying vitamins like biotin and folic acid, this was well worth the price for me. I have a subscription on Amazon for it to get sent to me every month, super easy!
And finally.. a VERY easy DIY project we did recently. I'll do a DIY post about it, but it's not even much of a project. We recently built a dining room table but the dining room still needed some oomph to it. I've always loved the look of a large black and white photo but I wanted it to be a bit more personal than just buying a print online. We bought black poster frames from Michaels and then white mat boards on amazon to place inside of the frames. The frames were on sale for $20 each, so if you like this project idea you might want to keep that sale in mind - I'm sure they'll run it again! Like I said, we wanted it to be personal so for the prints we just took 2 photos off of our phone and edited them to be black and white as well as the correct size. I then ordered them to be printed at Stapes on blueprint paper (their cheapest option) and put it all together. It turned out so nice and looks way more expensive than what it ended up costing. An incredibly easy way to spruce up a room!
Alright that does it for September. I already have some October items in mind which I can't wait to share! I'm always here if you have questions about any of my monthly items! Feel free to email or DM me on Instagram,.
See you next month!
