Hi again! Since this is my first "monthly 5" post, I'll explain what I mean by the title. Each month, I will be posting 5 of my current favorite items. Whether they are makeup, home decor items, hair products, or food recipes. I figured that if you made it to my page, we might have similar taste :) So, here we go!
First up, we have a tripod floor lamp from Target's Threshold collection. It is a simple, clean, and modern design that I think could go with pretty much any style. I have in in my living room! At first I thought it might be a little pricey, but after researching floor lamps I think it is pretty reasonably priced.
For number 2, I have a hair oil for frizzy hair. I have recently been on a little bit of a hair journey and with all of the products I have tried out, this has been my favorite! I have very thin hair and this is super lightweight, and not to mention delicious smelling!! I got mine at Ulta, but I am linking one you can buy on Amazon because, well, who doesn't like Amazon?
Next up, I feel like everybody by now has seen a pair of earrings like this and thought to themselves how badly they wanted them. I found this pair on Amazon for $14 and couldn't resist! They have two different sizes, I chose the smaller pair as I thought I would get more use out of them.. and I sure have! Love love love these earrings!!
For this next one is it too much to just put every single one of Chrissy Teigen's recipes?! My boyfriends sister got us the Cravings Cook Book as a little housewarming gift and I been obsessed! I can't help it, this is a 2-for-1. The Lemony Arugula Cacio e Pepe and John's Fried Chicken Wings... OMG. Just make these and then come back and we'll talk.
And finally, this one isn't any special "find" by me, but we recently planted some tomatoes and herbs in our backyard and seeing them grow has been weirdly exciting! I went to Home Depot and got seedlings (yes, I know that is kind of cheating) of cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, mint, and basil. If you have the time or space to plant some stuff, I would highly suggest! Although, when I was getting my soil from my local nursery, she did mention that it was a bit late in the year for the tomatoes.. oh well!
